Adibah Noor dead, Adibah Noor binti Mohamed Omar passed away -who is husband?

Inge Adibah Noor Mohamed Omar died last night after battling ovarian cancer.

She is 51 years old. The multi-talented Adibah, also an actress and presenter, took her last breath at 7.40pm.

Her famous friend Datin Emylia Rosnaida shared the news of her passing.

Speaking to the media, fellow singer Ani Meyuni said Adiba did not want to announce that she had cancer.

“I’m sorry we had to keep it a secret, she told me and some friends in our family, but she asked us to keep it a secret,” Ani said.

Adibah Noor binti Mohamed Omar or better known as Adibah Noor (3 September 1970 – 18 June 2022) was a Malaysian singer, actor, emcee, speaker and publicity talent. She started her acting career in 1995. She has previously starred in films such as Sepet and Gubra, as well as several local musical productions.

Adiba died of ovarian cancer on June 18, 2022.

Born in Kuala Lumpur, Adibah is a teacher teaching English as a Second Language and graduated from the National University of Malaysia. Her first singing competition was at a talent show called Suara 90-at Nescafe, where she won first place in 1994.

In 2006, Adibah released her first album Terlalu Istimewa. The album features the song of the same name, a ballad in response to a horrific case of rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl in Johor Bahru in January 2004. The album was critically acclaimed and received six nominations at the 13th Anugerah Industri Muzik, as well as the Best Folk and Best Vocal categories at the 21st Anugerah Juara Lagu.

To celebrate her 22 years in the entertainment industry, Adiba is planning a small concert titled “Entering the Third Decade” at KLPAC in Kuala Lumpur from October 21 to 22. Adibah also served as a judge on Astro’s singing competition talent show called Duo Star.

On February 24, 2017, it was announced that Adibah would release their third full album Jiwa Sentuh Jiwa in March. The album contains eight tracks and will feature singers such as Misha Omar, Anuar Zain, Amir Jahari, Nassier Wahab, Dina Nadzir and Sam Innuendo.
