Many fans have wondered why Naruto has these 3 lines highlighted on his face, and there is a very plausible reason why his character design is like that.
The shortest answer to that question is that he has the 3 lines because he has the nine tails on his body, but that’s not just what made him look like that.
The 3 lines on Naruto’s face
He does have these marks because of the 9 tails. But not because he is a Jinchuuriki. It is because your mother Kushina was a Jinchuuriki during pregnancy. The 9-tail chakra changed its appearance while it was in the womb.
The same example of this applies to Gaara who has those permanent dark circles on his face. And even if the tailed beast is extracted from your body, the marks are already permanent.

Naruto Shippuden was shown between the years 2007 and 2017 and counting the second phase of the anime. In it, Naruto returns after two years of training with the mission to fight Akatsuki and then rescue Sasuke from the clutches of Orochimaru.
