Alina Smith is a self-taught producer/engineer. She specializes in pop music production and vocal production. She is also a lyricist and melody writer after a six-year publishing deal with BMG Nashville.

Alina Smith was born in Saint Petersburg, Soviet Union. She started singing and playing the piano at the age of three and was fully conversing in two languages (English and Russian) by the age of four. Started composing, writing poems and stories at the age of five. At the age of six, she took a position at the well-known international group “Aurora”. Smith started out as Aurora’s youngest member and went on to become its solo frontman, touring regularly over the next few years and starring at medium and large venues across Europe.
Smith has had multiple ties to Japan, starting with her cover of Michael Jackson’s “You’re Not Alone” on the 2010 Jackson Tribute CD. Later that year, Sony Japan selected her piece “Fallin’ 4 U” as artist Aisha’s debut single, which included rap contributions from Run DMC’s Darryl McDaniels. In April 2011, Smith’s self-produced song “Kissing Tree” was selected for the compilation CD released to raise funds for relief after the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. In June 2011, Aisha and DMC performed “Fallin’ 4 U” in Central Park, New York City.
In February 2015, country music industry publication MusicRow announced that Smith had signed a publishing contract with major label publishing affiliate BMG/Chrysalis in a joint venture with Big Stage Music LLC.
Her single “Free Beer” was released on February 17 and was selected by the national satellite channel The Highway (Sirius XM) as an upcoming artist/song on their “On the Horizon” show. On March 19, Smith appeared on the popular Bobby Bones Show podcast, playing her song “Ride.”
Smith is part of a female production duo called Lyre. It consists of Smith and her friend Ellie Moore. They have collaborated on several occasions with American singer-songwriter Gabbie Hanna[13][14][15] and Kirstin Maldonado.
