A few days before her death, Amparo Serrano recorded a video with her daughter and posted it on her social networks, showing her change in appearance. What they didn’t expect was that this would be the last moment they shared together.
The artist and graphic designer Amparo Serrano, known as “Amparín”, a member of the Frans Group, has died on the afternoon of Friday, August 12 at the age of 56.
After a domestic accident, the artist was hospitalized for three days in a medical center in Mexico City.
One of her daughters, Camila West, posted a message on her Instagram account on Thursday highlighting her mother’s strength and praying for a miracle.
Creator of my being, that of my distroller sister, fanatic of making people feel good, supporter of all of Mexico and half the world in every way, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, friend, how could you leave like this, you had so much ahead, I do not understand the protocol of this life and even less without you, you were my guide, my problem sucker, my best friend, my idol, my whole world in one person, my dear mom, I have no words or strength to write much I’m going to miss you, not only me, all your loved ones, but I’m sure that right now you’re dancing with grandpa as hard as you can, that yiya is taking care of you and now it’s my turn to be the strong one, I promise to try to be the happiest even if it costs me an egg and a half if you are not by my side because you were always my life saver you always saw the solution to the worst situation. I will never recover from this, I beg you to give me signs of life from another dimension and I write all this here to join forces and that the sign that you are by my side is true. I love you and I will never stop loving you. I already miss you a lot, now yes… sleep all that you couldn’t sleep, be happy and think of yourself once in your other dimension because in this life you only saw for others. I am broken into a thousand pieces and I hope one day I can find that glue. I love you I love you I love you and never leave us alone.
