Andrew Stewart Barton, 22, a resident of Lakewood, Washington, died on May 20, 2022. No cause of death was reported. Andrew was born on March 14, 2000 in Lakewood, Washington.
He graduated from Lakes High School in Lakewood and received a BA in biology from the University of Portland in 2022. He has EMT training at Unitek and is licensed in Washington and Oregon.
Andrew works as a paramedic at Metro West in Portland. He was an Eagle Scout with bronze and gold palm awards and an elected member of the Order of the Arrow, a BSA honor society. He was the First Aid Coach and Assistant Chief Scout for BSA Troop 71. He enjoys the outdoors, including hiking, camping, and especially making campfires.
He is a fly fisher, kayaker, YMCA lifeguard, knife maker, kickboxing coach and captain of the West Sound Warriors ice hockey team. Andrew enjoys studying and lecturing in most subjects, playing board and video games.
