Caroline Foreback joins WJZ in November 2022 and is excited to be reporting for the station she grew up in her native Maryland.

After graduating from West Virginia University in 2018, she began her journalism career in southern West Virginia, reporting for WVNS 59 News. She then went to Northeast Pennsylvania, where she became a senior night and investigative reporter for WBRE/WYOU.

While in Pennsylvania, Caroline’s extensive reporting on a local missing woman leads her to an exclusive prison interview with international serial killer Harold David Herman III. She created a three-part special titled “Tracking the Killer: Harold David Hallman III,” which won the Pennsylvania Broadcasters Association’s Spring 2022 Award for Outstanding Investigative Reporting.

Caroline is from Crofton, Maryland and is a graduate of South River High School. When she’s not reporting, Caroline enjoys walking around Annapolis. She loves nature and water. She enjoys hiking, taking group fitness classes, and playing with her rescue dog, Barbie.
