Family, probate and criminal defense attorneys in Stouffville.
After working as a television producer and director, Colin was called to the bar in 1982 and has since practiced all aspects of litigation: matrimonial, civil, criminal and probate. Before founding Still McCalmont Long in February 1989, Colin was a partner in a full-service law firm in Newmarket, where he practiced until 2015.
Colin has 27 years of litigation experience. He has defended widely reported cases, including the landmark family law decision Rawluk v. Rawluk and the notable appeal Gomez v. McHale.
However, his attitude towards trials was tolerant. “There are no winners in litigation. Use it as a last resort. It is in everyone’s interest to resolve this issue quickly, cheaply, and with as little rancor as possible.”
But if things don’t work out, Colin will be your experienced and decisive advocate in court proceedings.
