Death: Daniel “Manotas” Rojas is dead

Daniel “Manotas” Rojas dies, exporter of the First Division and the National Team. National soccer exporter Daniel “Manotas” Rojas passed away on Saturday. The Costa Rican Football Federation (Fedefutbol) confirmed the death of the former player, who was 64 years old. “Manotas” played for Puntarenas, Alajuelense and Saprissa in the 1980s. Additionally, in 1985, he was also selected for national trials.

On Saturday afternoon, the death of former Costa Rican goalkeeper Daniel’Manotas’ Rojas was confirmed.

In the 70s and 80s, Rojas played in Puntarenas, Deportivo Saprisa and La Coruña Alajurenz.

In 1985, he was a member of the Costa Rican national team.
