Srinagar – Famous Kashmiri writer and former secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Arts, Culture and Language, Dr. Aziz Hagini, died after a short illness.
Dr. Aziz Hajini is a writer, poet, critic and Sahitya Akademi coordinator of the North Delhi Regional Council. He served as an assistant professor and taught Kashmir at the Shaikh-ul Aalam Research Center of the University of Kashmir until his retirement in 2019. (KDC)
Srinagar, Aug 20: (KNS) Jammu and Kashmir Champion of Literature and Culture, author of more than 20 books, former secretary of J&K Academy of Arts, Culture and Languages, current chair of North Sahitya Akademi Regional Committee , Aziz, New Delhi Dr. Hajini had some symptoms of obstructive jaundice in Srinagar. After conducting preliminary research in Srinagar, he was transferred to New Delhi for possible treatment and disease management at the Indian Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) in New Delhi.
