A young female officer of the Pakistan Air Force died of coronavirus-related complications on Friday night.An acquaintance said in a series of tweets that Dr. Flying Lieutenant Mahnoor Farzand was sent to CMH near Malir Cantt in Karachi for treatment after suffering from multiple organ failure. A tweet revealed that Farzand is the daughter of a veteran, married and eight months pregnant. Another acquaintance commented in a tweet that her father, Colonel Farzand, had also tested positive for the infectious disease but was recovering. According to her profile posted on her Facebook page, she graduated from Baqai Medical University in Karachi and joined the Air Force in 2019 as a flying lieutenant.
