Patrick was born in Liverpool, raised in Birmingham, educated in Wales and Scotland, and spent five years in Germany. He began his broadcasting career at the British Army Broadcasting Service (BFBS); afterward, he worked as a regular voice actor for BBC Radio 2 for 30 years.
He has been recording voiceovers for many years: he has presented the Lawrence Olivier Award on BBC1; he has organized a daily program (in English and German) for the Isle of Man TT competition; he has commented on the Discovery Channel documentary series “Extreme Machine.” “And” Angry Planet “, national and local voice television and radio commercials.
Patrick recorded hundreds of corporate videos and training CDs; he participated in a benefit concert; he gave a speech after dinner; managed media public relations for a private eye clinic, which was featured on BBC1 Tomorrow’s World; hosted an event for Hoover at the Reims Product Launch Conferences; conducted live demonstrations at trade shows and exhibitions, and writing scripts for corporate communication and advertising.
