Referee Nadir Shah no more Nadir Shah, former national cricketer and ICC panel referee, passed away on Friday morning at 03:48 am after a protracted battle with cancer at the age of 57.
Nadir Shah, a former cricketer and ICC team referee, died at 03:48 on Friday morning at the age of 57 after a long battle with cancer.During his career as an international referee, he was responsible for 6 tests, 63 ODI and 3 T20I matches.

He has played for many famous clubs in the Dhaka League for 20 years, including Abahani, Mohamed, Biman, Brothers League, Sur Qiao Talun, Karabagan, Azad Boys and Damondi. In March 2006, Nadir Shah served as a referee in an international competition (Bangladesh vs. Kenya) for the first time, and continued to serve as a referee for 40 ODI, 3 T20 international matches and 3 women’s ODI.
He is a TV referee for six tests and 23 ODI. He also hosted 73 first-class matches, 127 A-level matches and 54 (5 TV referees) T20 matches.
