Lake Park City Councilman Tom Barr said Saturday that Lake Park City Mayor Walter Keith Sandrin died at South Georgia Medical Center on Friday after being hospitalized for at least three weeks.
He is 68 years old. The cause of death has not been confirmed. Barr said City Councilman Ronald Carter is the acting mayor and will succeed Sanderling. He said the Lake Park City Council still has a quorum.
