Bridgeport police are actively searching for a man charged with the May 28 murder of a woman.
Officers are looking for Glenn Pettway, 28, who allegedly killed Marisol Dumeng on Saturday. There is an arrest warrant for him.
Pettway is currently on $1 million bail for a 2018 murder that authorities say also occurred in Bridgeport.
Police say he is 5-foot-7 and weighs about 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Petway is believed to be driving a blue 2002 Ford Mustang with license plate BB53311. He was known to replace the signboard, officials said.
A man who has been arrested twice for allegedly threatening his girlfriend, who she says he shot and killed her young daughter in front of her Saturday morning, is now wanted by police.
Glenn Pettway is already well known to police – he has been released on $1 million bail and is awaiting trial for the 2018 murder.
Petway, 28, shot and killed his girlfriend Marisol Dumeng, 30, at their Knoll Place home just after 5am on Saturday, police said.
On Tuesday afternoon, police issued a bulletin holding Pettway responsible. They said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Pettway was driving a blue 2002 Ford Mustang with a Connecticut registration number BB53311, the notice said.
On Feb. 6, Pettway posted a $75,000 bond after being arrested on three counts, although he was not released on murder bail.
He was charged with two counts of second-degree threats and two counts of second-degree harassment on January 25 and January 31, according to a separate complaint from his girlfriend, according to court documents.
He is said to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
