How is Renee Biran from my 600 pound life now? is she dead or alive?
“My 600 Pound Life” looks at the lives of people struggling with obesity. Your goal is to lose weight and live a healthier, happier life. The TLC reality show presents participants with programs to control lifestyle changes, exercises and hard diets, led by Dr. Nowzaradan, a surgeon specializing in weight loss. Many of his patients are nicknamed Dr. Now.
As the name suggests, the program is aimed at people referred to by Dr. Now as “super morbidly obese,” meaning people who weigh more than 600 pounds. Although 42.4% of Americans are obese, according to a 2020 report by the U.S. Health Trust, a small number of people who weigh more than 600 pounds are in immediate danger because of their weight. Since the series began in 2012, many contestants have turned to “My 600-Pound Life” in hopes of finally achieving life-saving weight loss.
Many people struggle with the serious problems behind obesity, from debilitating illnesses to traumatic pasts. Since the show can only provide brief snapshots of their travels, we often wonder what happened to them after the camera stopped recording.
Renee Biran is one of these unforgettable candidates. As Express Digest reported, when she began obsessively modeling for an audience that paid to watch her eat, her weight gain spiraled out of control. Forced to live with her children and depend on them for day-to-day care, she hopes that “my 600-pound life” can help her turn things around. But where is she now?
According to The Cinemaholic, Ella Bilan has managed to reduce her weight to 381 pounds since she weighed 631 pounds in “My 600-Pound Life.” Part of the reason she lost around 250 pounds was gastric bypass surgery, and she underwent surgery after losing enough weight to safely perform the surgery.
However, after her success, she sadly happened. As reported by Screen Rant, she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome in early 2019, which is an unusual and debilitating autoimmune disease. This made her lose hope of undergoing another surgery to remove the excess skin that was left after her weight loss and took her to a nursing home.
Despite this confusion and disappointment, her activities on social media point to the bright side. A Facebook post from May 2019 showed that he was standing in front of a Las Vegas sign, alongside a man with a Ronnie Earl Roden label, with the title of joy written: “Hi honey, let’s go to Las Vegas and say goodbye to Single’s life”. So she looks like she can get married! Or at least a loving partner may have entered your life.
Since 2019, there have been relatively few updates on Biran’s life. Although comments on Facebook photos posted on January 2 suggest that she may be in rehab, this is a common destination for those recovering from bariatric surgery and seeking a healthier lifestyle in the long term. No matter where she is, we hope everyone goes well on her journey.
