Jamal Edwards is a British media entrepreneur who has had a major impact on the UK’s music and media scene. He was born on 24 August 1990 in Luton, England. He grew up with his mother Brenda Edwards, stepfather Patrick and younger sister Tanisha.
Although his mother was an actress and wanted him to follow in her footsteps, Jamal had a passion for music from an early age. He studied ICT and Music at Acton High School and later at Ealing Green College.
As a teenager, Edwards began filming and editing music videos for local artists and uploading them to YouTube. His early work caught the attention of major recording artists and labels and allowed him to establish himself as a name.
