There have been many rumors this week about the possible death of actor Jason Statham, known for his roles in The Expendables, Transporter and The Pig and Diamond. He is still alive and well, but unfortunately, he joined the ranks of celebrities who announced his deaths in hoaxes circulating on social media sites.
Rumors about the alleged death of the actor flood social networks
The news went viral on the Internet, but fortunately it was not true. However, unlike previous jokes that announced the death of celebrities, this time, the pranksters took the fraud to another level. The Facebook page they created has collected over 1 million “likes.”
Statham was filming one of the few scenes where he would use a stuntman when he was filming Part 3 in Varma, Bulgaria, but the reason why it didn’t happen is unclear.
The behavior included jumping from a waterfall into an artificial lake, which was performed by a former diver for the British National Swimming and Diving Team, and the result was unexpected.
After diving, the 52-year-old actor did not surface, prompting part of the film crew to jump into the water and rescue Statham, who was partially unconscious.
