A chilling video clip appeared in which Nosicelo was brutally murdered by her boyfriend in Quegney, East London. Nociciello was killed by her boyfriend, part of her body was cut and placed in two suitcases. She is said to have thrown them at the entrance of an apartment near the apartment where she lived.
Brig Tembinkosi Kinana said that a policeman patrolling the area Thursday morning was stopped by a motorist and told them what he had seen.
After reaching the corner of Fleet Street and Fitzpatrick Road, a suitcase was found containing the body of a 23-year-old woman. Next to her was a black bag that contained other parts of her body. At the scene, police received information that said “A 25-year-old suspect believed to be involved in the murder was found and immediately arrested,” Kinana said.
A Twitter user who lived near the scene of the incident described in detail what happened before and during the incident. Liziwe Ntshinga, the provincial police chief, condemned the incident, especially since it took place on Women’s Month. “This is one of the devastating scenes that women do not want to see during this Women’s Month. Ntshinga said that this incident reflects the persistence of gender-based violence and murders of women that are widespread in our society.
The suspect is expected to appear in court on Friday. He faces murder charges.
