Kacey Rae Bowers, 42, passed away on January 28, 2021, in the care of her 20-year-old son Lorenzo Bowers, her parents Donetta and Russell Bowers, and her beloved family. Born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, Kacey was raised in an active family and attended Mesa Public Schools, where she excelled in school and athletics.
Fierce contender Kacey attended Yavapai College, where she played on the Rough Riders volleyball team. Kacey’s career has been varied, but after earning her master’s degree in professional counseling, she speaks several times about her key accomplishment, working with people with challenging needs in our community.
Casey makes connections with people in trouble. She is able to empathize and guide them to change. With the support of the community, she serves her clients’ beauty and clothing needs. “Kacey’s Kloset” is a place in their facility that offers improved clothing and grooming options. She loves seeing her clients progress in a positive way in all aspects. It was so satisfying for her.
Kathy is survived by her son and parents, as well as six siblings and nineteen nieces and nephews.
A worship service will be held at Salt River Stake Center, 6942 East Brown Road, Mesa, AZ 85207, Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 10 a.m. Visiting family and friends – 9:00am in the same place.
