Kay Hansen pressed the reset button, but it wasn’t done.

A few weeks after she left the UFC, Hansen (7-6) already has a new home — or an old one, depending on how people perceive it. Hansen has a multi-fight contract with Invicta FC, and the promotion got her into the UFC in the first place.
Julian Gregorio, Hansen’s manager of upgrade management, first announced the news in an Instagram post on Friday. So far, neither opponents nor a date or location for their return to Invicta FC have been announced.
The 22-year-old Hansen has made four appearances under the UFC banner since striking an endorsement deal in early 2020. After defeating Jinh Yu Frey for the first time, Hansen lost three straight to Corey McKenna, Jasmine Jasudahuis and Piera Rodriguez before being eliminated from the UFC. Her most recent loss to Rodriguez was at UFC 273 in April, when Hansen missed the weight of the fight and then unanimously decided to drop the UFC rookie.
