KrishnaKumar Kunnath, commonly known as KK, K.K, Kay Kay, is a multilingual singer. He has sung in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. He sang nearly 3,500 songs before entering Bollywood. He also sang the song “Josh of India” during the 1999 World Cup in support of the Indian cricket team. He made his debut in 1999. See the resume of singer KK for more information.

KK was born in Tiruhul and grew up in Delhi. Kishore kumar is his inspiration. KK has 8 months experience as a Marketing Director in the hospitality industry. KK holds a business degree from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. A few years later, he moved to Mumbai in 1994. He really is the next generation of Kishore Kumar. With no formal vocal training, he remains one of all the other talented singers in Bollywood.

His debut album “Pal” was released in 1999. The album won the Star Screen Award for Best Solo Album.
The second album after 9 years is “Humsafar” in 2008
His first breakthrough as a singer in Bollywood was the song “Chhod Aaye Hum Woh Galiya” in the movie “Maachis (1996)”.
K.K.’s song as a standout singer is “Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil” in “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999)”. It was one of the biggest successes of his career.
After this song K.K. got a lot of offers. Until now K.K. has sung over 3,500 songs. KK has also sung the title song in some TV series like Just Mohabbat and Hip Hip Hurray.
K. was also a judge on the Sony TV reality show Fame Gurukul in 2005.
In 2013, KK sang for an international album, Rise Up – Colours of Peace, which consisted of songs written by Turkish poet Fetullah Gulen and performed by artists from 12 countries. KK recorded a song called “Rose in My Heart” for the album.
In 2010, Indian band BANDISH produced their second self-titled album.
