Kristina Igorevna Asmus (born April 14, 1988) is a Russian theater and film actress. She is best known for her television role on the medical sitcom The Intern. She was named the sexiest Russian woman in 2010 by Maxim magazine.
The actress was born on April 14, 1988 in the city of Korolev, Aries. Her real name is Kristina Myasnikova, and she inherited her surname from her German grandfather. Father – Igor Myasnikov, mother – Rada Myasnikova. The family has four children and Asmus has sisters Karina, Olga and Ekaterina.
At first, the Myasnikovs lived modestly in a communal apartment, and later in a two-room apartment in the “Khrushchev”. Recalling her own childhood, the star said there were times when all she had in her fridge was a jar of horseradish and they had to live with it and wait for their parents’ wages.
