A popular senior at Lincoln Public Schools has died. Lily Ellenberger of Lincoln, Nebraska, committed suicide after a long battle with depression. Lily Ellenberger was pronounced dead on the PeacePerfection obituary website. Before her death, the beloved Lincoln East High School student competed in several swim meets during her junior and senior years.
While there are many unconfirmed reports that Lily died by suicide, there are other reports that she died in a possible traffic/car accident. Lincoln Public Schools has yet to issue an official statement since the beloved senior’s reported death. Lily is a student at Lincoln East High School in the 1000 South 70th Street area of Lincoln, Nebraska.
“Lily Ellenberger, you will always be missed, but always remembered,” the sheriff’s specialization said in a statement. “We extend our love, pleas, concern and sympathy to Lily Ellenberger, her companions and colleagues.”
