Nickelodeon today announced the cast of A Loud House Christmas, an original live-action television Christmas film based on the Emmy Award-winning animated series The Loud House. The film tells the story of Lincoln Lauder (Wolfgang Schaefer) preparing for the ultimate Christmas, until he discovers that most of his sisters plan to spend this important day elsewhere.
Lincoln and his best friend Clyde McBride (Jazil Bruno) are determined to remind his family that they should all be together, and they embark on a task to protect the family’s Christmas traditions. This television feature film will premiere on Nickelodeon in November this year.
When vacationing in the Royal Forest with the Lincoln, Clyde and Lauder families, House of Loudness Christmas will also see other fan-favorite characters from the animated series “House of Loudness” come to life.
Nickelodeon will also air two new episodes of The Loud House on Friday, August 27 at 8 p.m. ET / PT.
“Noisy Christmas” is written by Liz Maccie (Make It or Break It) and directed by Jonathan Judge (All That, Punky Brewster, The Thundermans), who is also serving as executive producer. Michael Rubina (The Loud House) and Matt Bierman (Matt Bierman) serve as executive producers. Darlene Caamano Loquet, Senior Vice President of Nickelodeon Movies, is the producer.
Nickelodeon’s A Loud House Christmas is overseen by Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin, Co-Directors of Nickelodeon and Awesomeness Live-Action. Jessica Brown is Nickelodeon’s Production Supervisor.
The Loud House made its Nickelodeon debut in May 2016, focusing on 11-year-old Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters because he has a deep understanding of how to survive the chaos of the extended family. As one of the longest running animated series on Nickelodeon, totaling 156 episodes, the property has also produced: comic book series, which constantly publish new stories; chapter books; digital albums; and a podcast, listening out loud. The series is produced by Michael Rubina. Kyle Marshall is serving as Co-Executive Producer and Ashley Kliment-Baker is serving as Artistic Director.
