According to Fightful, WWE has terminated Mandy Rose’s contract over her FanTime content. Rose, a former NXT Women’s Champion, was reportedly released for posting photos and videos that violated her contractual terms. This comes after her 413-day reign as champion ended on last night’s NXT broadcast. WWE officials reportedly felt that the content Rose was posting on her BrandArmy page was outside the parameters of her contract with the company.
Mandy Rose, whose real name is Amanda Rose Saccomanno, was a bodybuilding champion before she became a pro wrestler. In 2014, she won the World Beauty Fitness & Fashion Bikini Championship. She later competed on the sixth season of WWE Tough Enough in 2015, where she renamed herself “Mandy Rose” and lost to Alicia Fox in a tryout match, finishing second overall. She was recently fired from WWE over her FanTime content.
Mandy Rose signed a five-year deal with WWE after finishing second on WWE Tough Enough. She competed in the NXT brand before joining the main roster as part of the Absolution faction alongside Sonya Deville and former WWE star Paige. The two women eventually broke off from Paige to form the tag team Fire and Desire. After a failed attempt at winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles, Rose and Deville had a memorable feud that involved a romantic storyline with Otis. The high point of their feud was when Deville cut Rose’s blonde hair in a backstage attack on the July 31, 2020 edition of SmackDown. The two women had a “Loser Leaves WWE” match at SummerSlam 2020, which Rose won.
