For more than 20 years, SpongeBob has been one of the most popular children’s cartoons. The influence of the absorbent yellow sponge has entered the fields of comics, movies, and video games from TV.
However, fans of SpongeBob SquarePants, where pineapples live, were shocked recently because many people saw a viral document detailing the death of the crab boss and pointed out that SpongeBob SquarePants and plankton may be involved.
Why does Mr. Krabs die?
The document called “SpongeBob SquarePants Trial” explains how Mr. Crabs died tragically and details the evidence linking his death to multiple suspects. The SpongeBob trial seems to be an activity that can be set as a classroom challenge in school.
The main document that fans saw was a two-page PDF document detailing the cause of Mr. Crabs’ death and a list of evidence and witness statements surrounding the case. On its own, the file seems mysterious and a little disturbing.
However, there is another version of the same document. The second version is an 11-page PDF that includes worksheets and instructions, which specifically mentions dividing the class into teams for defense or prosecution.
The purpose of the activity seems to be for students to check the evidence displayed, ignoring the SpongeBob series they already know, to determine who actually killed Mr. Crab. In the trial documents of SpongeBob SpuarePants, Mr. Krabs was found dead in his Krusty Krab restaurant with his throat cut.
The coroner concluded that the wound was caused by a metal spatula. A similar spatula was found next to Mr. Crabs’s body, stained with his blood.
Mr. Crabs also showed signs of blunt trauma to the back of his head. Most importantly, the floor of Krusty Krab is slippery because it is covered with cooking grease. Several footprints were found in the grease, including those of SpongeBob SquarePants, but his footprints were not in the pool of blood of the crab boss.
There was no sign of break-in in the restaurant, but Krusty Krab’s cash register was empty, and Mr. Krabs’ safe was found to be opened, containing the secret recipe for Krabby Patty’s missing. Mr. Crabs also has a small wound on his paw, which has begun to heal, which has been determined to have happened a few weeks ago.
In the event, the identity of the murderer who killed Mr. Crab was determined by anyone who participated in the challenge.
It is up to the prosecution and the defense team to argue whether SpongeBob is innocent or guilty. However, looking at our evidence, we can see that there are many possibilities for how Mr. Crabs encountered his fate.
The slippery floor may have caused him to accidentally fall and cut his throat, although this does not explain the empty safe and cash register. This is where the responsibility is transferred to the plankton, Mr. Crab’s long-time competitor, because shortly after Mr. Crab’s death, he started selling burgers with a recipe very similar to the legendary Krabby Patty.
To make matters more complicated, two days after plankton started selling burgers, he went to the bank to pay off SpongeBob’s remaining mortgage. This document also tells us that SpongeBob has never received a raise during his years at Krusty Krab, which makes him very dissatisfied.
This led to a possible theory that SpongeBob and plankton cooperated to steal the recipe for crab meat pie, and Mr. Crab meat’s death may have been an accident on the slippery floor.
