After a week’s postponement of chapter 308 of the My Hero Academia, the Shonen Jump editorial team recently shared a message explaining the reason for this small delay.
According to the statement, translated by the Twitter user known as @ redandblonde420, the manga had to be postponed due to health problems of Kohei Horikoshi, the author of the work (via @ Atsushi101X).
“For the sake of the author’s health, we won’t have a My Hero Academia chapter this week. We would like to apologize to all those who looked forward to this week’s chapter, ”says the statement.
“We are planning to resume the chapter at JUMP No. 19 next week (launched on April 12th). Please continue to support My Hero Academia. ”
Although the message does not offer more details about Horikoshi’s health, this type of delay is relatively common, as authors of weekly manga unfortunately face a very heavy journey to get the new chapters on time.
So we wish Horikoshi to take the time to rest and return when he is better.
Recalling that the My Hero Academia anime has already returned with its fifth season, which can be watched officially with subtitles in Portuguese via Crunchyroll.
