Mary E. (Fox) Greulich, 88, widow of Charles B. Greulich of Barto, died on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Percival and Urffer Fox.
She graduated from Pennsylvania High School in 1942 and worked as an examiner at the Great American Knitting Mill in Barrie for 14 years before retiring in 1987. She is a life member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the church choir for many years. She likes embroidery and vacations in Florida.
The survivors are three sons, Charles F. Greulich of Barto, Thomas F. Greulich and Frederick F. Greulich of Boyertown and their companions, Ruth Streetman, Sarasota, Florida; three brothers, Robert Fox and wife, Florida Mildred of Stewart, Harold Fox and his wife, Jean and Donald Fox of Redhill, widower of Edna, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Margaret, wife of Leon Pennepacker, Ann, widow of Donald Bauman and Marlene, Richard Bieler’s wives are the wives of Roy Stevens from East Greenville, Marian, Pennsburg. Along with her husband and parents, her siblings Esther Hallman, Bessie Kolb and Linwood Fox died young.
The memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at 81 North Avenue, Pennsylvania at 11 am on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, hosted by Rev. Charles E. Romanowski. Invite family and friends to visit the church from 10 am to 11 am. A private funeral will be held later.
At her request, she donated her body to the Human Gift Registry (University of Pennsylvania).
