In Thursday’s statement, Hulkenberg was very happy and detailed the importance of his role in the future of the team. “It is great to sign this agreement well in advance. Last year I didn’t have that much time to prepare before getting in the car. I am very happy to be working with this team again, with which I have driven many times in my career.

On the other hand, Hulkenberg wished he didn’t have to run a race because of his teammates’ problems. “I hope Sebastian and Lance enjoy the season this year, but the team can trust me to step in and do an excellent job. I am fully prepared to take on this challenge. It will be interesting to help develop the team throughout the year and I am looking forward to setting good lap times, ”said the German rider.
