Another New Jersey congressman, Russell Heller, was shot dead in his car a week after Congresswoman Eunice Dwumfour died.
Police were called to the PSE&G facility in Franklin Township just after 7 a.m. Wednesday in response to allegations of a shooting there.
Heller, 51, was found dead in the parking lot of his car, according to the Somerset County Attorney’s Office. In addition to his 11 years of experience as a senior sales manager for the company, he is said to have worked as a consultant for the Milford community in Hunterdon County.
In an interview with NJ.com, Milford Mayor Henri Schepens offered his condolences to the town, saying: “Milford Borough Council is deeply saddened by his death and our hearts go out to his family.” Understand that he died because he always seemed so alive.
