A large group of potential clients from Dade Christian School visited Florida unofficially Monday morning to tour the campus and spend time with the coaching staff. Two of the players who received offers from the Seminoles, 2023 wide receiver William Foles and 2025 wide receiver Shamal Foles, attended the event.

While William Falls has long been a target of the program, the coaching staff recently awarded his younger brother, Shamar, a scholarship to his first recruit in May. This is the first time Shamal Foles has come to Tallahassee since accepting an offer.
“It’s a good day,” Foles told NoleGameday’s Dustin Lewis. “Great.”
During the few hours that Foles was on campus, he spent a lot of time with head coach Mike Norvell. Fowles passed on some of the topics they talked about.
“I’ve seen a lot of good things,” Fowles said. “Look, coach Mike Norvell said a lot of good things. About if you don’t want to be great, don’t come here, he just wants me to be successful.”
The Florida native looks forward to continuing to expand his relationship with Norvell. He felt he was happy with the head coach’s personality.
“He’s got a great personality,” Foles said. “He had a poster on his wall, a photo, and he said keep climbing.”
A few weeks ago, Seminole was the first school to offer a scholarship to Falls. He was very excited about it because he got the job earlier than his older brother was in his own recruitment.
“It means everything. This is my first offer,” Foles said. “I’m excited because Florida State doesn’t offer Will in the first place. I’m the first to get it.”
While it’s early days for Foles, the Florida State coaching staff has his attention. He plans to return to Tallahassee for another visit after his football season.
“I love coaching,” Foles said. The coaching staff is nice and relaxed. “
The 6-foot-1, 150-pound wide receiver has gone to multiple schools this offseason while tripping with his brother. According to 247Sports, Foles is not currently listed in the class of 2025.
