Theresa Wise is dead – Cause of death – Obituary 2021

CEO The Royal Television Society. The University of the West of England (UWE) collaborated with Business West to host an annual lecture series to bring top business leaders to Bristol. Before her speech, we interviewed Theresa Wise, CEO of the Royal Television Society.

  1. How does the streaming media revolution change TV?
The streaming media revolution is absolutely fundamental to the tremendous changes in television.

It is dramatically changing the way of viewing. People are watching more content on demand, which increases the price of premium content.

If you are an actor or behind-the-scenes staff, you need it now. Prices have soared, which is very beneficial to production.

  1. How will TV production and consumption change in the future?
It looks like there will be more productions in the future, partly because more streaming services are being launched, and many of them want to commission new content, which must be produced somewhere.

If you are British, the good news is that there is a lot of production going on in the UK. Therefore, I hope to carry out more various types of activities in the UK.

  1. What advice do you have for students who wish to develop in this industry?
The great thing-if you want to start in the TV industry-is that it is developing very fast, and the demand for excellent skills has never been greater than it is now.

If you want to start, then the first thing you need to do is actually start shooting, if you want to stand on the practical side.

It is also worth studying other jobs that can be done in this industry.

Some people are born creative filmmakers, and some are excellent in technology and post-production or craftsmanship and skills. Others are very good in business or communication. All these things have work to be done.

The second thing is that there are many bursary programs. We have launched an excellent bursary program at the Royal Television Society to help people from low-income backgrounds. We provide cash to guide people and help them enter their careers.
