Pain is one of, if not the, most beloved villain of Naruto Shippuden. The Akatsuki leader has one of the most iconic visuals of the work, and achieved the incredible feat of invading and destroying much of Folha’s village completely alone.
In an attempt to capture Naruto and Kurama, Pain invaded Leaf Village, killing most of its residents in the process. If it weren’t for the arrival of Naruto, who had just mastered Sage Mode, Konoha would have been completely wiped out.
This led many fans to wonder if Pain would also be able to invade and destroy the other villages to recover the Jinchuurikis, alone. And the answer to that is yes, he would be able to destroy all four other villages without anyone’s help.
In fact, Pain just wasn’t able to destroy Konoha, which is the most powerful village among the five because of Jiraiya. Jiraiya’s death caused the Konoha ninjas to prepare for the invasion, and this includes taking Naruto to Mount Myoboku to learn the Wise Way.
Without these advantages, Pain would have completely wiped out Leaf Village, which is why the other villages would not stand a chance against an invasion by the Akatsuki Leader.
What do you think? Do you agree with the idea that Pain would have wiped out all the other villages if he wanted to?
