The title of the single was an enigma for fans of the group but has finally been revealed. At the same time, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook released numerous concept clips, photos, and teasers for their fans to enjoy.

And as the K-Pop group usually does, they released the video for the single on their YouTube account at the same time. This one was released and only one hour had already broken a record, with 20 million reproductions. 16 hours later it exceeded 85 million views.

The release was a success, just like everything this band does. The song paints to be the hit of the summer: “We wanted to have a fun BTS summer song that everyone can enjoy.”Jin told BuzzFeed News. “And as always, we want our music to reach as many people as possible.”

At a worldwide press conference marking the song’s release on Friday, vocalist Jimin described “Butter” as a “cute and maybe a little charismatic, but also kind” song. The youngest of the group, Jungkook, promised that the single will stay with his fans for a long time.

“Butter” is BTS’s second single

This is the group’s second single, after last year’s smash hit called “Dynamite.”

According to V, recording “Butter” was a lot of fun. It also reveals that the group seeks to bring positivity, comfort, hope and joy with this single.
