LONDON, Nov 13 (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin’s close ally Yevgeny Prigozhin said on Sunday that a former mercenary who was filmed switching sides in the Ukraine war had been killed. Execute by hitting the head with a sledgehammer and become a traitor.
Prigorzhin, the Russian businessman who founded Wagner’s private military group, responded to an unverified video circulating on Telegram showing the execution of a man identified as a former Wagner mercenary after admitting he had died on September 9.
