Catherine Caylee Cowan
Caylee Cowan (formerly known as Catherine Kelly Cowan), born on March 19, 1998 in Los Angeles, California, is an American film actress. After starring in the feature film Sunrise in Paradise (2019) and playing against Nicholas Cage in Willy’s Wonderland (2021), she started her screen acting career. Her father is of Russian Jewish descent, while her mother is of Spanish and German Jewish descent.
She graduated early to focus on acting and study method acting courses at the Arizona Academy of Actors. It was there that Caylee participated in various theatrical performances, such as Anton Chekhov’s “Three Sisters”, Tennessee Williams’s “Glass Zoo”, John Patrick Shanley’s “Danny in the Deep Blue Sea” “And August Strindberg’s “Miss Julie”.
Then, at the age of 18, she moved to Hollywood, California, to pursue an acting career. In June 2018, Caylee Cowan made her debut as Jan Hurst in “Sunrise in Heaven” (2019). The film was released to the public on April 9, 2019, and one year later in 2020 It will be released on Netflix on April 1, 2015. On her 21st birthday, she made a documentary about refugees called “Peace Between” (2019).
In October 2019, she played Holly Martins in the Year of the Detective (2021). She played “Becca” in “Cut” (2020) and “Kathy” in “Willy’s Wonderland” (2021), which played against Nicolas Cage. In the summer of 2021, she starred in Sean Patrick Flannery’s “Frank and Penelope” (2022) with Jonathan Shaggy, Lin Shaye and Kevin Dillon.
