The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) stated that the boy in the viral video of the boy setting fire to a girl in a classroom has been suspended.
In the recent spread of bullying, a Belgravia high school boy set a girl’s hair on fire while making fun of a girl’s hair in class, and was suspended from school.
This incident occurred on Monday morning and was recorded by his classmates when the teacher was not in the classroom.
Wearing a brown and white hat, the boy took a lighter from another student, stood behind the student, poured liquid there, and lit his ponytail.
This 14-second video was recorded by a girl sitting behind the victim. It started with the boy pouring a glass of wine into the girl’s hair.
Then the boy in the hat asked another colleague for a lighter, and someone said, “Ha ha ha!” (Hey you, haha).
