Mel Thompson aka Puffin’s Wife aka the sweetest soul passed away yesterday. I’m in disbelief. May her and her beautiful soul and family find peace. Rest well my sweet friend.
Many of you may have also been intrigued by the depth of her talent and enjoyed watching her as much as it can be enjoyed. Mel Thompson is without a doubt someone who, if you haven’t actually seen her, you will want to see her. Not only is she extremely talented, she is also funny and kind, and it’s a pleasure to see her.
He had his first shoulder surgery about 6-7 years ago and then another the following year. She never really played with makeup. She was an artist. She loved to paint and she loved interior design. However, her repetitive motions were a big (no no) after her last surgery.
She took a makeup brush and it quickly became a new way of creating art. She used to focus primarily on creating real art on her face and then that led to her focus on makeup work. She working on others, learning about different skins and techniques. She started working at MAC and Kelsee was the one who actually made him create her YouTube account.
Mel sadly passed away yesterday. It’s really hard to just choose 10 photos. We lost a beautiful person. I just wanted to show the smiles she brought. I’ve had to answer so many texts of people just checking in on her without even knowing of her passing. It’s great to see how loved she was. And she loved all you right back. I’ll continue to love her and miss her forever. She was such a pillar for our family. The kids would talk to her non stop and she was constantly talking with them and trying to help them with their stuff. And no matter how bad she felt, she would still rub my back when I came and jumped on the bed next to her while she was working tirelessly to put out content. Everybody knows how talented she was as an artist and with her helpful knowledge, but those closest to her know how truly wonderful she was. She would have done anything to help anyone without a second thought. I wish I had her back.
I just learned on Twitter that @melthompson passed away. I have so many thoughts but the first are radiance, she radiated kindness, beauty, grace! She radiated everything! She talked to everyone like sisters and I loved her for that! #forevermyfriend #missingyou #rih
