Nigerian musician, fashion designer, gospel singer and actor; Patience Ozokwor has landed in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She came to Sierra Leone as an evangelist for a 5-day evangelistic event in Freetown.

Patience Ozokwor, better known as Mama G, is a renowned Nollywood actress, entrepreneur and evangelist. She was born on March 25, 1958 in the village of Amaobo, Ngwo, Enugu State, Southeastern Nigeria.

She started acting in middle school, playing the role of Hamlet in Shakespeare’s classic play. After her early marriage, she continued her education at the Women’s Training Institute, where she obtained a degree in education.

In 2005, “Patience” won the 10th African Film Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress of the Year. She has starred in over 250 Nollywood films including Living in Bondage, My Sweet Mother, Aguba, Witches, Atinga, The Coven, Idemili, The Calabash, Old School and more.
