Kevin Olaeta dead and obituary, Dr. Pimple Popper patient passes away

Kevin tragically passed away a few months after filming the show. He died of tachycardia and an enlarged heart, and passed away peacefully in his sleep.

TLC decided to give the patient special honor as the caption reads “In Loving Memories of Kevin Olaeta 1988-2019”. Lee also recalled her patient, writing on Instagram: “RIP Kevin…I learned a few months after the recording that Kevin passed away unexpectedly. Love and strength to his family and friends especially his dad .”

Dr. Lee loves Kevin because of his personality. He came to the show to treat a six-year-old cyst on his jaw. Kevin often tries to hide bumps with his hair. However, that didn’t boost his confidence.

On the show, Kevin admitted that he had a hard time dating and was embarrassed to start conversations. Fortunately, Dr. Lee surgically removed the large cyst on his face.

Kevin passed away on May 19, 2019, according to an online obituary. The obituary reads: “Kevin C. Olaeta, 31, resident of Petaluma, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Kevin attended Petaluma Ma High School and the Hollywood Musicians Institute, where he studied the guitar trade. He has a passion for music and is a huge supporter of local bands and concerts at the Phoenix Theatre.”

It continued: “He also enjoyed working on his motorcycles and cars. Kevin showed great skill while working in his father’s electrician shop. Clients and friends alike were drawn to his upbeat, friendly attitude. He Kindness to all people and animals is a tribute to the beauty of his heart and soul.”
