Tova Borgnine Dead: QVC Home Shopping Star And Wife Ernest

Tova Borgnine was an 80 year old American actress and beauty products entrepreneur who starred in QVC’s home shopping show. She died at home in Chester County, Pennsylvania on February 26, 2019.

Michele Uram of the company Tova Beverly Hills announced her death. She stated that she had no specific cause of death.

Tova Borgnine sold her beauty line and perfume named Tova Signature to become the owner of QVC in 1991. With the help of television, she increased her business to over $20 million per year.

In 1997, Tova Borgnine published a book titled Being Married Happily Forever: 22 Secrets, 12 Strategies and 8 Compromises. The 97-year-old actor Ernest Borgnine’s fifth wife, who had married in 1973, was apart from her husband a lot of the time due to their business partnerships.

Tova Borgnine started her career as a seller of cosmetics in a New Jersey shore boutique. After moving to Nevada, she sold skin care to Las Vegas showgirls. Borgnine claims that the formula for her products was inspired by an ancient Mexican cactus family’s line of products. She was born in Oslo, Norway, on November 17, 1941.

Amanda Johnson’s family includes six grandchildren, two stepdaughters Nancee and Sharon Borgnine and a stepson Cristofer Borgnine.

Ernest Borgnine died in 2012.
