Moon Bin dead, ASTRO's Moonbin found died in his apartment

According to Korean media reports on April 19, Moon Bin, a member of the popular K-pop boy group ASTRO, has passed away. Wen Bin is only 25 years old.

The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul reportedly said that ASTRO member Moon Bin’s manager found him dead at home, and the manager reportedly called the police after arriving at the scene.

Police have reportedly said they believe Moobin died by suicide, and are also reportedly discussing the possibility of conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Moon Bin, known professionally as Moonbin, is a South Korean singer, actor, dancer and model under the Fantagio label. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Astro and its subgroup Moonbin & Sanha.

Moon Bin was born on January 26, 1998 in Cheongju, North Chungcheong. He attended the Hanlin Multi-Art School and graduated with a degree in Applied Music.

He has a younger sister, Moon Soo, who is a member of the Korean girl group Billlie. Influenced by his mother, Moon Bin debuted in 2004 as a child model and ulzzang. His notable debut came in 2006 when he appeared in the music video for TVXQ’s song “Balloon,” in which he played a miniature U-Know Yunho. In 2009, he starred in the Korean drama “Boys Over Flowers” for the first time, playing the young version of Kim Bum.

Wenbin has been an apprentice under Fangagio since the fifth grade, and officially became an apprentice in middle school. He participated in the company’s boy group project iTeen and was the second trainee to receive the Fantagio iTeen Photo Test Cut. Before debuting on Astro, Moon Bin starred in a web drama called “To Be Continued” with other members.
